LETTERS

Just like any other non-governmental organization, in order to make our objectives and initiatives known, we have addressed letters to a number of high officials and organizations.

To be more specific, we addressed such letters to: Mr. Javier Solana, during his mandate as NATO Secretary General, on the occasion of Manfred Wö rner's commemoration, a letter by which we suggested that NATO's official calendar should include the "Wö rner Day", and by which we also requested His Excellency to make use of his influence with a view to endorse Romania's endeavors aimed at joining the Alliance from the first stages of its enlargement process. To the same end, we also sent letters to the ambassadors of NATO member countries to Bucharest and to NATO HQ in Brussels.

We sent other similar letters to Atlantic Councils and NGOs in NATO member states and partner countries, informing them about our objectives and willingness to develop cooperation relations.
