CELEBRATIONS

We never forget to celebrate major personalities and events.

- In 1996, we invited and organized the visit of Mrs. Elfie Wö rner, on the occasion of commemorating 62 years since the birth of Manfred Wö rner. We titled that event: "Manfred Wö rner - a New Euro-Atlantic Spirit".

- In 1997, we organized a commemoration of Manfred Wö rner (when he would have been 63), in an activity with the subject: "Memories about Manfred Wö rner", attended by

Romanian political and military officials, NATO representatives, German diplomats, journalists.

- In 1998 we also organized a meeting on the topic: "30 Years of Diplomatic Relations Between Romania and the Federal Republic of Germany", with the participation of representatives from the German Embassy to Bucharest, of Romanian political organizations as well as media representatives.

- September 24, 1999 - The 65^th Anniversary of our patron Manfred Worner; Issuing The Manfred Worner Anniversary Medal and decoration of political and military foreign and national leaders that contributed to stability, cooperation and integration in the Euro-Atlantic area since the end of the Cold War.
